History: Merla was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Ranger, to bring honor to her family’s name. History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
