History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: Lamlis lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He found a children's book about a Half-Elf Barbarian who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. A true patriot, Burana would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Burana was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Born in the west to a Crown-heir, Tordrid learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She worked as a nervous Crown-heir and found it very stressful. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.
