History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Unemployed arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. After coming to the age of reason, Meriele took it upon herself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She was granted necromantic powers by her dying sister.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Through the years after Therlin was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Therlin's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Marshal for the past few years.
