History: She was born in the north. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Xanaphia fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: This man is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright tan and pastel, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems, and sports empty pouches on his belt. His chestnut hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his hazel eyes.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Arannis's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. A true patriot, Arannis would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Arannis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. Being a Merchant kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Scribe hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, she put together a working one.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and to be a barrister again
