Description: A woman with a cold, calculating air about her, she wears a black cloak and cross-gartered brown stockings. She keeps her long white hair kept up in a rat tail. Her silver eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: She is cool and collected. She likes to make quips and puns whenever she does anything. She also makes a point to compliment her superiors and flatter them. A true patriot, Kali would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Tiefling companion (her 'brother'). She has achieved small success as a Bookbinder.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Description: An older woman who wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition, she is not a threatening figure. Her red hair is singed and shortened. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. While she appears to be a normal Halfling, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. Fargrim enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born in the north. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Dwarves in the north were limited. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
