History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Emerald and his spouse have recently divorced.

Description: This man is very fat, and wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. He has no hair. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Gnomish companion (his 'brother'). He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and to reunite with his old friends

Description: Her right side is far more bruised and cut up than her other. She typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep pastel leather and dull grey iron scale mail. Her gray fur is heavily combed to the right. Her eyes are copper and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. Three is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She was born in the north. As a very small child her family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. Her mother, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect her and cast a teleportation spell that whisked her away. She's also a talented Fortune-teller, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Painter and was forced into it by her family.

Description: This woman wears a grey cloak and cross-gartered blue stockings. She has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized aquamarine on her right hand. Her long red hair reaches down to her waist. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: Morana wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Commoner, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has taken up work as a Baker and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.

Motivation: To be a Sailor again; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg
