History: She was born in the south. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Cora alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Balifra's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs
