It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Diggory hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. A freak accident while working with his Stylist mother left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

He found a children's book about a Half-Orc Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He found a children's book about a Tabaxi Adept who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
