She now mingles about in high society.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He now mingles about in high society.

History: She was born in a small island village. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and regain custody of her daughter
