History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside his partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Fortune-teller. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: He is a Detective first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He works hard and plays hard.

History: Born in the west to a Detective, Bucklal learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: A thin woman, she clearly needs to put on some weight, but she still has a lot of muscle. She wears a shirt that is too small, which lets her gut show, with a ratty red coat over it. Her blonde hair is greasy and uncared for. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep brown.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In her 16th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Cora alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. After a long history of fighting, Cora and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Many dire rats want her driven away; and a deep hatred of dire rats
