History: Damaia was born with her father's beautiful face. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Damaia grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Damaia. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature glaive.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with his Mercenary mother left him crippled. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
