Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She became a Doctor soon after.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Verna was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Through the years after Verna was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Verna's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her mother took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Rieta was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
