Description: His left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. His blonde hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. This green eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Halfling culture. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the north. When Baern reached his early adolescence his Dwarf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Findex fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He has a large black mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his brown robe. He is bald on top and has large silver tufts of hair around his ears. His blue unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. A freak accident while working with his Dyer mother left him crippled. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
