Description: A man of a pale complexion, he wears many layers of old clothing at all times. He keeps his red hair in a pixie cut. His eyes are hazel and he is always smoking a pipe.
Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.
History: Dustin was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Ranger, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Ranger in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

Description: This younger middle-aged man is dressed in an above average manner, and a wedding ring on his left hand. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.
Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Thradal grew up listening to his father's many stories. Through the years after Thradal was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Thradal's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Description: This northern woman wears tattered old clothes. Her clothes are grease stained in places. Her auburn hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a Stetson hat. Her green eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. She is seen as merciless and passionate.
History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. Being a Priest kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. He has no hair. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Aelar embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.
History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
