History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. When Cora reached her early adolescence her Halfling father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Purban was born on a far eastern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Mayor. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Ploughman but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Roland fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: She got into the Sage business at a young age. She always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and she feels threatened by others
