History: Astaro lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Astaro alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. A gifted student he started as a Dyer, but he got bored and became a Animal Trainer. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To be a Dyer again.

Personality: She exudes charisma. She is a tour de force of persuasion. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Shoemaker profession.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Fletcher for hire.

Motivation: To end her boredom; and she is unsatisfied with her job
