History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Hlin was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. At a young age her mother died while driving off some giants. Her father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in scythe use. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Mozikth hails from a village terrorized by illithids. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered illithids who tried to eat his hand. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Jeweler they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Miller, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: To be a Jeweler again; and he wants revenge against illithids

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He got into the Ruler business at a young age. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He tends to his Ruler job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
