History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered east to less war torn lands. Some 8 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Carlin never married again. Her father had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Smoking was heart-stricken from the event, and her mother started working long hours to provde for them. She now mingles about in high society.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Interpreter arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Adrie alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.
