History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Zed and his spouse have recently divorced.

Description: This fat eastern man has a bulbous nose and is well dressed, constantly wearing a brown suit, black shirt, and tan tie. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His golden hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a dagger scrunchie. His fierce gray eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: Baern is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Baern liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.
