History: She was born in a small island village. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Sage. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he usually wears his yellow robe and has his dagger always slung over his shoulder. He has moderate length golden hair. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady blue eyes.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He has all his life been fascinated with painting.

History: Born to a Carpenter, his father struggled to pay the bills. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gilbert fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.

Personality: He is a Carpenter first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. While he appears to be a normal Dwarf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and sabotage a competitor
