History: Barendd was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gifted student he started as a Mayor, but he got bored and became a Miner. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Miner for hire.

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average woman, she is not imposing. She is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time. Her moppish white hair is in a traditional bowl cut. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are brown.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Dwarf in existence. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: She was born in the south. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Dwarves in the south were limited. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Mortician responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: Jak hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his music career. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Mason work with an outfit from a few towns over. Mason work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has never given up on his music dream.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears suspenders and green workpants. His shirt is pastel, and he wears a heavy green leather apron most of the time. His hair is cut close to his head. His eyes are black and beady.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Nirgel embodies much of what other species detest in the Tieflings. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: He was born in the west. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and to reunite with his absent father
