History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He found a children's book about a Gnome Druid who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a Map Maker soon after.
