Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. Flattery will make her almost putty in your hands.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Because her father participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her mother from journeying west to reunite her family. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She has worked as a Carter like her father before her.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. A true patriot, Quick would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: The child of a Mason, who enjoyed hunting, Quick was taken on many hunting expeditions. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She now spends her time doing works of charity.
