She was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her mother from journeying south to reunite her family. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Dilettante. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Dilettante for the past few years.

Personality: She does not care much for physical appearances, nor does she care much for other people. She does however care about what she wants and getting it. When triggered she is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: Mara was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Mara was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Mara decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and she possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. When Akra reached her early adolescence her Dragonborn mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and she feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world
