Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: Sheggen hails from a village terrorized by illithids. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing singing.

History: Her necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Shivering alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is obsessed with his god.

History: Gifted from a young age, Richard studied abroad. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Richard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.
