History: Emerald was born with his father's beautiful face. Emerald abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: Katherine hails from a village terrorized by brigands. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of orcs once and for all.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, orcs burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying south to reunite his family. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
