History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage daughter.

History: Herleva hails from a village terrorized by illithids. In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Herleva alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions
