History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Shamil alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: Many illithids want her driven away.

Personality: This man loves painting and to teach people painting more than just about anything. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Umpen is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the north were limited. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 39. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he feels threatened by others

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Pûgrish grew up listening to his father's many stories. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
