Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Wella fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Torbera hails from a village terrorized by goblins. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Carpenter responsibilities is difficult; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and she desires to right it

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Marshal who has hired her part-time. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Merla grew up listening to her father's many stories. She found a children's book about a Halfling Bard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
