History: Morkral lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: Shadow was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: Born in the south to a Sculptor, Damaia learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Sculptor. She struck the Sculptor job and began her own company from there.
