Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. In her 13th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: He is a husky man, who typically wears tan cloth garments or leather armor. He keeps his white hair in a pixie cut. His amber eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He is greedy.

Description: A middle-aged woman, she dresses in tan turtlenecks beneath a grey coat with white slacks, and is pretty ugly. She has shaved her head bald. Her hazel eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: She is a hateful person. She taunts others and blames them for her problems. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Cumpen is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Cumpen lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Ostracized due to the martial powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
