Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Vaina was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Vaina grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Vaina. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Eberk's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. A true patriot, Eberk would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Dwarves in the west were limited. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Umpen will drive conversation. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When Umpen reached his early adolescence his Gnome mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
