History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Varis was born on a far northern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Sculptor. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking eastern young adult. He wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. His red fur is lengthy. His hazel eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. The war was a terrible time for him, and Shivering does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Shivering was born with his mother's beautiful face. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: She is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks her mind. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Painter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Heather fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Peren was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions
