History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He saw the violence of war and the aftermath so he converted to religion and dedicated himself to non-violence.

History: Rolen was born with his mother's beautiful face. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
