History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Silaqui will drive conversation. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Silaqui lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Silaqui abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Many brigands want her driven away; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it
