History: Qualen hails from a village terrorized by orcs. His childhood dream was to be a Bounty Hunter, but he was a colossal failure. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Ruler for the past few years.

She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
