His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Iados took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up quarterstaff and armor he uses now. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

History: He got into the Sage business at a young age. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

History: Gerald lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Gerald was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Gerald decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She found a children's book about a Half-Elf Monk who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.
