Modean Pain, Male Tiefling [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He wears a black vest and prefers white and violet shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. His red hair has been sun bleached extensively. He is baby faced.
Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.
History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Modean alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and his religion dominates his actions

Henry Rayden, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He is an average looking northern male in his early mid-life. He wears a brown costume with the symbols of death on his torso. His silver hair is thinning but still full. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.
History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Henry was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
Ideals: Logical. Flaws: Insomniac, Mundane. Bonds: Mentor, Job. Occupation: Cook

Morkral Caebrek, Male Dwarf [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. He is portly but not overly obese. His white hair is long and unkept. He has gleaming, smiling hazel eyes.
Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.
History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He always admired druidic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: He is greedy; and money/treasure
