Description: This late middle aged man wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty blue coat over it and is in decent physical shape. He wears his brown hair down. He has several tiny amber earrings on each ear.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Herbalist born in the past three hundred years. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Varis lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Varis was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Varis decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: His skin has the orange glow of too much sun. He wears a tattered pair of loose tan pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs. His silver hair is smooth and relatively long. His gray eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Gnome in existence. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: Born to a Bounty Hunter, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Description: His right side is far more bruised and cut up than his other. He wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with black colored cloaks and clothing. His white hair has been sun bleached extensively. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Qemuel was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and to get a good night's sleep

Description: A pudgy woman standing about 5'4" has a big stupid grin on her face most of the time. She wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath her coat. Her long red hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. She has white eyes.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: A powerful wizard made her what she is. Her first spouse was a Bricklayer, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Bricklayer they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Locksmith, and she later adopted a second son.
