Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His first spouse was a Interpreter, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and wants to work out more often

Description: This slender woman stands about 6'3". She does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when she can avoid it. She has moderate length blue crest. She wears an eyepatch.

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered south to less war torn lands. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world.
