History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Jade lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion.

Description: She wears bulky blue painted plate armor, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 3'1" when asserting herself. Her golden hair is long and unkept. Her eyes are gray and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 12. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: Tana was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Expert, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Expert in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Armorer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
