Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Zook embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Zook was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Painter born in the past three hundred years. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: She was born in a small island village. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Painter for the past few years.
