Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Born in the east to a Stableman, Abad learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: This man stands a little under 5'6" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a pastel cloak and cross-gartered tan stockings. His brown fur is long and unkept. His eyes are blue and beady.

Personality: He hates giants. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Beast alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He wears a simple white robe with pastel stripes complete with hood. With a patchy auburn beard and wild auburn hair. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.

Description: A moderately attractive woman, she prefers to wear violet pants and tee shirts. Her chestnut hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. Her amber eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: She is overprotective of those who hire her services. Herleva is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She was born in the north. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter.
