Personality: While she is on the job, she is grim and serious. She understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Melissa was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Melissa grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Melissa. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
