History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. When Zaffrab reached his early adolescence his Gnome father passed away. Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. The war was a terrible time for her, and Veloptima does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: The child of a Carter, who enjoyed hunting, Veloptima was taken on many hunting expeditions. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. History: He got into the Dilettante business at a young age. Kerkad was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Kerkad decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. After months of barely getting by, Kerkad managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.
