History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Xanaphia was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.

Description: An imposing woman with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic right leg, she tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with her rolled up shirt sleeves this gives her a very relaxed look. Her red hair is greasy and uncared for. Her ears are large.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. She is a thrill seeker, she laughs at people and throws down challenges. She is highly competitive and combative.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out.

Description: This man has the majority of his body covered in plate. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized ruby on his left hand. His silver hair is long and unkept. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Cook. Hadarai is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.

Description: Her left side is far more bruised and cut up than her other. She is generally shirtless and showing off her tattooed chest. She has a very tight haircut. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the east. Werydd was born on a far eastern forest where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Servant. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She is wracked by social anxiety; and she is terrified, and will act out of fear
