Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Halfling, and stands approximately 3'1". He wears a red shirt, with a blue mid length shorts with blue tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them, and his gloved hand is found clutching a lance. His long silver hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady brown eyes.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. Bertram was born on a far southern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Spice Merchant. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: Expand his business; and he would like to get married and retire

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with singing. She constantly tries to fill her life with singing. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has never given up on her singing dream.

History: Qualen was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
