History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Ahlyssa was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Through the years after Umpen was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Umpen's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
