History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. After a long history of fighting, Qemuel and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing poetry.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Balam grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Balam. Being a Ruler kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Her attire stands in sharp contrast to her sickle, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a cross on it. Her white hair is matted, messy, and big. Her eyes are white and beady.

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Mercenary. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: She got into the Mercenary business at a young age. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.
