History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel.
